Trump, election Rigging and the Russian Threat (Updated)

Trump, election Rigging and the Russian Threat

Its long been reported that trump looks favorably on Russian and its dictator, the ex-KGB lieutenant colonel VladimirVladimirovich Putin. With the addition of pro Russian cabinet member RexTilerson, the millionaire CEO of Exxon/Mobil as Secretary of state we can be assured of a cozy relationship with this most despicable foreign power.

But to the real issue, Our national security… ALL 17 American security agencies have reported that Russia was behind the hacking of both political parties. Oddly they only leaked info stolen from the Democratic National Committee. Clearly they wanted a pro Russian candidate in the White House as it was certain the Hillary Clinton would not have been friendly towards them. The CIA this past weekend reported that Russia was behind the hacking which ultimately influence, dare I say ‘Rigged’ the presidential election.

Clear, Plain and simple. Yet trump claims none of this is true and that they ( the US Security agencies ) have no idea who did the hacking. Worse he calls the CIA ridiculous. A dangerous statement for a president to make about our security agencies. Trump has no security background and if not for the election could not even get a security clearance. While we have dedicated professionals who have spent their lives understanding the threats to our nation and doing what can be done to protect us.

Why is he all of a sudden the “Smart Man” who knows better ? Oh yea ….. it’s that ego of his which will only believe that he’s great and knows more than everyone.

But I digress

On the subject of rigging an election. By trumps own words this election was rigged, and here is how. During the election trump stated multiple times that the whole election was rigged and by this he was implying that the media outlets, the news organizations and anyone who was against him was attempting to influence the voting public to not vote for him. Strictly speaking this was his definition of rigging an election, soooo…. If the Russians released information that attempted to sway the voting public then they to were rigging the election…..

yes you heard it here first THE RUSSIANS RIGGED THE US PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION !!!

Now, critically There was no measurable rigging by any definition of the word anyone BUT trump would use, but that’s not my point here. I’m simply throwing his own crap back at him and laughing at the irony all the way.

The Russians did attempt to influence our election to get their chosen candidate into office and they succeeded. Their release of DNC emails along with the deplorable actions of the director of the FBI James Comey (see previous Blog post on that) swayed the undecided voters and handed the election to the most unprepared and infit person to be elected in over 100 years.

So we have a real threat in the Russians. Putin is trying to restore the Soviet Union and make themselves a world power once again. He ordered the hacking of both US political parties but only release things damaging to trumps opposition, because he believes that trump will not stand up to him and basically let him do whatever he wants. Win, Win for Putin. While the American public and likely the entire world will pay the price.

Well play Mr Putin, Well played.

ADDENDUM :

12/15/16.....Yesterday, NBC news reported that members of the intelligence community now believe that Putin was directly involved in this plot to interfere in the US elections. It seems he actively directed the use of the hacked information.

One could interpret trumps denial of Russian involvement as tacit approval of it and what does that say about a man who endorsed and actively sought the help of a foreign power in our election. I'll tell you what it means. TREASON.

FURTHER

The FBI now concurs with the CIA's assessment that the Russians and their leader Mr Putin did indeed hack both the Democrat and Republican national committees. That they subsequently released only what they felt was damaging information likely to  hurt the democratic candidate (Hillary Clinton) and thus bring into power the republican candidate (trump) who they felt would be sympathetic to their agenda. It has been documented that trump admires Mr Putin and has said on several occasions that he feels he is a good leader (I'm being kind here in paraphrasing his words).
