'The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act' has been termed 'Obamacare' by the republican/tea party/super pac people. This term is meant to be negative. Crafted by these same people to bring visions of socialized medicine and a government takeover of the health industry. Designed to scare the simple minded unquestioning masses they depend on for votes. These same people who brought you the term 'death panel' and other outright lies to scare you.
We need to stop using this term RIGHT NOW. Its not helping and when a democrat or other pro administration person uses this term they lend it and its intended message credence.
