On this day 13 years ago an atrocity was committed on the American people upon our own soil by terrorists. The people lost in the air, in NYC, in Washington DC and in Pennsylvania are remembered this day. Each and every one of them and we grieve as a nation for their loss and for their families. 

As we stand today we are still threatened by these same people and people like them. We do not want the job that history has thrust upon us but we stand, sometimes alone, against these thieves, these murderers, these animals who’s culture has raised them unable to deal with the modern world. 

Perhaps we should pity them, but I still have the stains of tears on my face from that day and I can not erase the pain so easily. Let us stand together as a nation and show our foes the face that made America great.
