To the bid to boycott Pepsi for putting the original pledge Pledge of Allegiance without the 'in god we trust' piece.
Oh (name removed), sorry but I garee with Pepsi. It would be one thing if the phrase 'under god' had been part of the original pledge, but it was not. This phrase was added in the early 50s during the era of McCarthyism, at the urging of a number of christian groups. I feel that leaving the phrase out is more inclusive of ALL americans. Its wrong to single people out and thus Pepsi presents the pledge as it was prior to the 50s. As a side note 'In god we trust' was also added in the 50s during this same period of fear and suspision.
