You know what really grinds my gears ? The Republican party. Since their big loss in 2008 they have had a single agenda. Oppose EVERYTHING that the Democrats are for. They have followed this idea with blind determination, allowing no fact, person or ideal to get in their way. Truth has been the biggest looser in this mess. It has been twisted, stretched, ignored and even fabricated. They have treated the truth with distain and ignorance.

For you Republicans reading this … Yea, that means they lied, knowingly told falsehoods. Why ? Well because they knew there were enough people who would blindly believe them without question. Who only read the headlines and did not bother to look any further for the facts.

And this has continued through the midterm elections (which they called a mandate. (Mandate ??? that's a laugh). Now we have a fractured congress. Neither party will get anything real done because each controls one of the houses. All of the Republican's promises will come to naught which works out well for them because they have only one primary goal.

When John Bohner was chosen this year to become speaker of the house what did he say was going to be his number one priority ? Ensuring that the current sitting president was not re-elected. Now come on, seriously ? It may be what you intend to do, but have the intelligence to keep it to yourself you idiot.

The Republican party is a bunch of babies. Crying and whining and throwing a political temper tantrum because they have not gotten what they wanted. They are spiteful and devious and have bargained on their ability to manipulate their base. They have used the public forum, not to deal with the real issues, but to heft a political dagger aimed at the 2012 election year.

And this is why the Republican party really grinds my gears.
